"The Venice Port Authority has selected law firm Lombardo & Associati as legal advisor in relation to the structuring of a massive PPP project to improve the capacity and logistics system of the northern Italian port. The law firm, led by Massimiliano Lombardo, will be contracted for a one-year period and arrange all preliminary documentation for the launch of the tendering procedure next year.
The project, whose entire cost is estimated at around EUR 4.6bn, falls under the EU's TEN-T projects, and as such will also receive EIB funds."
